The introduction in the year 2007 of the MFW GPRS telecontrol system and also awarded solution by the board of “Initiative Medium sized companies” got a new co-member called the MFW-Ethernet System.
The two medium types complete themselves excellently both using IP connections for the bidirectional communication. Mixed substations can consequently be operated with one master, which can exchange data with a superior system (SCADA) about the standardized IEC 60870-5-101 by a serial link or by Ethernet about this-104 protocol. |
