Product Discontinuation Fault Annunciators

We are continuously enhancing our product portfolio and the functions of older product families are integrated into new devices. Thus we hereby inform about the discontinuation of our fault annunciator series:

SRL08, SZM16 and U7.

These products were discontinued as per June 30th 2017. Of course we will conduct repairs and spare part deliveries within the framework of existing contracts after this effective date.

Please contact our sales team for support upon definition of the suitable migration path for you:

Please find the successor model for your formerly used annunciator in the following overview tables.

SRL08. Annunciators of the series SRL08 can be replaced by analog-in-function devices of the fault annunciator series BSM

Flexible annunciators BSM

SZM16. Annunciators of the series SZM16 can be replaced by analog-in-function devices of the fault annunciator series BSM.

Please note that the mounting form of these annunciators has changed compared to the predecessor model SZM16:

U7. The annunciator systems of the old U7-series can be substituted by annunciators of the type BSM. Due to the large number of device variants, we forego an overview of the U7-devices and analog-in-function BSM annunciators. The annunciators of the series BSM offer all functions of the U7-family, e.g. optionally integrated repeat relays, processing of up to 192 alarms within one system a.m.m.. With appropriate front-plates the BSM annunciators can be mounted in 19"-racks. More information on the series BSM is available here:

Flexible Annunciators BSM

In addition to the functions of classical fault annunciators, our series USM offers the possibility to communicate with superior or inferior systems, e.g. SCADA systems through communication interfaces acc. to IEC 60870-5-101/104 and/or IEC 61850.
